There Is No Truth to the Rumor That the Univeristy Will Soon Pay Students to Comb Their Unruly Hair

According to CNN, the University of Michigan is paying students to keep their dorm rooms clean.

Among the 18 students participating in the tour program are sophomores Aaron Bennick and Eric Romain, engineering majors who have loft beds that fit over their desks, a clean beige love seat with light-blue pillows, two refrigerators and a bookcase filled with laundry supplies and food.

This grammatically problematic excerpt seems to imply that the students may be keeping laundry supplies in their refrigerator.

You don't keep your laundry supplies in the refridgerator? Don't they go bad out in the room temperature?
