"AP - President-elect Barack Obama said Monday a review by his own lawyer shows he had no direct contact with Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich about the appointment of a Senate replacement, and transition aides "did nothing inappropriate."

When Sarah Palin did this I vilified her for clearing herself. I am an Obama supporter and I have already written to let them know if they would like to keep the people's confidence, they should find a neutral party to clear you or better yet, let the Republicans review the contacts and let them declare that there was nothing inappropriate.
