What does that mean? "Yatta!" I don't know what that means. Somebody help me. I have no idea whether to feel flattered or insulted.

Except that the Dow also throws off a 2.46% dividend yield. Taking that into account, investors boneheaded enough to have bought at the exact peak of the tech bubble would be close to even today, even after adjusting for inflation.

Which is far better than the morons deserve.

Assuming it's Japanese, "yatta" means, literally, "(I) did (it)." Idiomatically, it's more like "alright!", in the sense that something went really well.
