Dan Carlin related a story recently on his podcast about how his journalist mentor kept guns loaded all around his house because Charles Manson, whom he had met, freaked him out so much.
What Manson did was supply said journalist, when the man visited him in prison, with a diagram of his house, in order to prove he was still worth being scared of.
