Oh my god.....for a brief moment you sounded almost like a ...like a capitalist.

I hope this doesn't hurt your blog cred.

Wouldn't a real capitalist be investing in a book project hoping to make money from a book that someone else wrote? Or is my definition of capitalism askew? I ways taught that ROI was the driving force of capitalism, not labor, ie writing a book.

You guys are missing the key piece of info buried in this post: The Marques de Riscal AND Robert Louis Stevenson? Wow! That's gonna be some kind of book.

A capitalist or someone favorable to the notion of capitalism will patronize the enterprise who can best serve them.

"A capitalist or someone favorable to the notion of capitalism will patronize the enterprise who can best serve them."

A socialist would not? I've never seen you be less than concise, Fish. Free markets are what you are talking about, not capitalism, although capitalism as practiced in the 21st century claims to use free markets as its operating system.

Wall-e

The socialist would as well. Frequently he is given no other "legal" option and is forced to take what is available as other avenues are not permitted.

I have no real dispute with your second statement.
